Private Mobile Paint Parties are a wonderful way for:
Families to bond with a fun activity for all ages,
Friends to celebrate a special person and occasion,
Co-workers to team build in a creative way outside of work,

Groups & Clubs to fundraise in a unique and memorable way.
How To Book
The first step to booking your party is reaching out to us via email or phone. Tell us about your party vision and we can start shaping your special paint party experience. Art Party comes to you, so we need your help to supply the place for us to paint. The date/time and venue of the party should be set a minimum of 4 weeks before the big day so the public event / fundraiser can be promoted for the greatest participation.
Deposits
The party's organizer will place a small refundable deposit down in order to secure the desired date on the Art Party Calendar. After your successful event happens this deposit will be applied to the overall cost of your party.
Pricing & Cancellation Policy
The overall price or individual ticket price will be set based on a few factors: the minimum number of painters guaranteed to attend, if there is a fundraising component and the traveling distance from Elk Grove to the venue. If more painters join in last minute GREAT, we are very flexible. Painters can be added to the class up to 20 minutes before it starts and can choose to pay for their ticket via this website, venmo or cash on site. We do however prefer pre-payment and early sign up so we can make sure you are all setup with your supplies beforehand. Private parties may be cancelled, and the deposit refunded with a minimum of 14 business days' notice. If less than 14 days notice please contact Art Party. If a party has to be rescheduled to a later date we will hold the initial deposit for that future date.
What You Get
We want your event to be fun, memorable and run as smoothly as possible. We provide you with all the supplies needed for the paint party, including our helpful artist(s) to host and guide your guests through the experience. If your event is open to the public will will help with it's promotion. For classes larger than 20 painters additional artist assistants will be provided at no cost to the host. We want to be sure that every painter gets the attention they need during their experience.
The Supplies
We provide table clothes, ground clothes, canvases, easels, cups, napkins, brushes, paints, palettes, aprons and anything else needed to complete the masterpiece. (Folding tables and chairs are also available for rent for an additional cost if needed)
Professional Instruction
Our instructors are professional artists themselves and are well-trained in making the painting process simple and enjoyable for painters of all skill levels. Everyone gets step-by-step instructions at a comfortable pace. Our goal is to have no painter left behind. Artists are encouraged to make their masterpieces their own. If they want to deviate from the colors or steps in order to further customize their painting they are free to do so!
Music
This experience is all about those participating so please tell us what sort of background music you'd like for your event (if any) and we are happy to tailor a playlist to your needs. This is your party after all! If the venue does not already supply the music we can bring an external speaker for this purpose.
Food & Drinks
Food and drink availability varies from venue to venue. Art Party does not normally provide food or beverages for the paint party. You as the event organizer will determine if food and beverages will be provided or will be for sale depending on the hosting venue and occasion. Sometimes restaurants and bars offer a free drink for painters and are even okay with bringing in outside food and drinks. Please discuss these options with your hosting venue.
Event Details
The door will be opened for painters 30 minutes before the painting start time. This gives everyone time to arrive, settle in and socialize, while also giving the host and instructor time to set up. If the host is not paying for all the participants up front and painters still need to purchase their ticket on arrival, this 30 minutes before class allows for this while still starting on time.
Painting Selection
Once the date/time and venue have been established you can peruse the Art Party Painting Gallery of past custom-designed Art Party paintings. You can pick a few from here and share them with friends to have them vote for their favorite! If none of these paintings are speaking to you (That's OK!) a custom designed painting for your event is possible. You don't have to have your painting chosen before booking your event date and time with us.
Promotional Materials
The 4 weeks prior to the party date are very important for promotion. If your event is open to the public or is a fundraiser, Art Party can provide you with: the actual 16"x20" example painting with a QR coded label for instant sign up, letter sized flyers, an event listing on this website for purchasing tickets, an ART PARTY facebook link to drum up interest, a time-lapse video (if available) of your painting and a slideshow slide for promotion (if applicable). We will do everything we can to help make your special paint party a success!
Art Party classes are open to all ages of artists. This said, it's important to keep in mind that some events may be more suitable for adults due to the complexity of the painting and the 2 hour sitting time. We will have at least one 10 minute break (sometimes two) during the session so everyone can take a break and/or get wiggles out. Make sure to check the event details before making plans to bring along the little ones.
YES! All painters are encouraged to create whatever painting they want. You can stick with me step by step till the end or go off free-styling on your own. At the end of the day it is YOUR PAINTING. It's going on in the most prominent position on your mantel at home, framed with perfect lighting so why not make it GREAT! Additional paint colors will be available on site for those getting more wildly creative.
Sure can! The main requirement is that we have enough seating for your guests with a front or side view towards the painting and instructor. We can be inside or outside (weather and daylight permitting). Art Parties have been held in kitchens, garages and even backyard gardens. A large venue is not a requirement to host a party. We have rentable tables and chairs if needed.
Absolutely! Here at Art Party we love to partner with churches, clubs, sports teams, organizations, small businesses and more! Being able too raise awareness and generate funding for special projects with parties is fantastic. When you initially contact us about your party mention that you would like to have a fundraising component as part of it and the right cost per ticket will be chosen to make it a WIN WIN for both the participants and the cause.
Yes, we offer gift cards in any dollar amount that can be used to attend any of our public events or put towards a private party booking. They make a great gift for birthdays, holidays or other special occasions.
Please wear clothing you don't mind getting paint on. Aprons are provided but the occasional flick of the brush can allow paint to wander. The paint is easy to remove from your skin with our magic soap but a little more difficult to remove from clothing so keep this in mind. Just pick an outfit that you can always come to paint parties in and that can be your "painting outfit"!
